Step 1 – Check for air trapped in the pump.

Perform an "air purge" operation which removes the build up of air that gets trapped in the pipes.

Open/unscrew the Air Purge Valve on the top of the Filter Pump; air will be released as water fills the Filter Pump.

When water comes out of the Air Purge Valve screw it closed and wipe away any water.

To start the Filter Pump, insert the plug.

Step 2 – Check if the filter cartridge is dirty

The filter cartridge in the pump may need to be cleaned or replaced.
